Any idea what this is? regulator, motor, switch etc. and how to fix it.Try rolling all windows up then go to each individual door and hold the switch up for 5 seconds. There's a window reset procedure that might fix this - maybe caused by the battery disconnect. I believe it's in the owner's manual, but I have a bookmark with the procedure. The drivers side window goes down fine but when I have it go up it just goes up about a inch and instantly back down. If if fiddle with it for a while I can get it back up. I tried the procedures from the manual and also talked about in the sticky with no change.The local Subaru dealership took a look at it and indicated that the issue was due to the window tinting, recommended lubrication.
