I have a 28 gauge Remington 11-48.Have had it apart in the past but at this time I just forget how the bolt came out.From what I remember it was not diffcult. When shooting the shotgun I wipe a little oil with a soaked cleaning patch on the magazine tube.Let us know how you enjoy shooting the shotgun.

Problem with Remington Sportsman 48 and cheap shells. I recently bought a decent-looking 48 12 gauge from a pawn shop, and when I got it home, I loaded it with cheap Winchester low-power 8's.
