From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system. '04 Ranger had a weak battery and got a new one. Afterwards no start or warning lights that you usually get with switch on. The only thing that appears to be getting power is the fuel pump. Battery is hooked up properly and there is juice to the solenoid but nothing from the switch.If the spark is weak, the spark inside the tool will appear yellow-red and have a more inconsistent spark pattern. Now that you have verified that there is no spark, it’s time to begin troubleshooting. 2. Make Sure the Kill Switch Is On.
